Today Inspirational Interior Design of the Day is something really really beautiful, at least from my perspective, a bedroom with an amazing view. You can fall asleep under the stars every night and wake up in the morning with a spectacular view …just imagine having this bedroom in a quiet place somewhere on an island. For those of you who might have privacy problems there is a curtain that can be drawn to surround the interior when privacy is absolutely necessary – otherwise, who would want to block such a view. The bedroom features an Anarima bed by Roche Bobois that is made of upholstered Elegance leather with adjustable headrests and a solid beech pedestal.

Need ideas for decorating your bedroom? An interior decorator would say that your bedroom should be a sanctuary. While this is true, in order to be really comfortable, your bedroom needs more than just a bed and nightstand. If you place it in your family room then it has to compete with the television, computers, and video games. While your family may appreciate the visual aspect, the relaxing sound of trickling water will be overpowered by the hustle and bustle of a busy family.

By placing the water feature in your bedroom, you maximize its potential. You can be relaxed by the hypnotic flow of the water and lulled off to sleep by the sound of trickling water. It makes for the perfect sanctuary.

Your bedroom is your sanctuary so the bedroom decorating ideas you come up with that reflect your personality and create a relaxing atmosphere is what makes your room special.

woodsy Norway Summer Getaway

While this is technically more than a room of the house, I was eager for this secluded, woodsy Norway Summer Getaway. Part of the attraction is the location, of course. Located in the 170-kilometer-long Hardanger Fjord, this area is filled with beautiful scenery of reason, with waterfalls, glaciers, gardens, fields, and mountains to choose from. I can imagine filling the nights long summer with a bike or kayak trip is interrupted by a cold reduction in the fjord and followed with a glass of Aquavit in this modern deck.
